MGO Anniversary Special: Presented by MGO Radio (Part 1)

1. This was a pain to name, I wanted to call it MGO Radio Anniversary Special, but people might get confused. It's not OUR anniversary. So yeah, convoluted title.

2. Although the turnout wasn't quite what I expected, it was still great, Red Fire, Hachi, BIGGESTBOSS, BladeViper, SilentShots, MiseryMissy showed up.

3. That whole Spec quitting deal, still happening.

4. I spent a lot of time on the intro, please comment on it.

5. Congrats Konami and Kojima Productions, here's to another year of MGO!!

Listen to it here

Download it here

That was fun.

Met some new people, made some cool friends, and best of all, got to chat about MGS4 and MGO with friends this weekend. It was a blast.

It's funny, I would be perfectly content if no one listened.
Just making the radio is fun.

Although it's gonna suck if Spec does decide to quit.
That's how things go and such.

Expect Part 1 of the Anniversary show tomorrow, part 2 on Saturday.

Now I'm off to bed, I don't expect 1.33. But it would be nice.

MGO Radio Special TONIGHT!!

Hopefully those of you that listen to MGO Radio also listen to the KP Report. The Kojima Productions podcast has USEFUL info (inside information) and cool stuff. They have been doing their integral podcast, which covers MGS4.

Tonight, due to the one year release anniversary of MGS4, we are doing our own MGS4 podcast. The usual radio crew will be looking back at the SINGLE PLAYER version of MGS4.

Favorite parts, things we hated, did we get the BB Rank?

All will be revealed.

We also have a few special guests dropping in.
Well, only one so far from the land Down Under (Austrailia)

Anyways, if you are interested, let me know.
You must have Skype, and you have to have beaten MGS4.

PSN: RecSpec
AIM: RecSpec001

Should be a fun one tonight, can't wait!

May 26: Radio Thoughts and other random thoughts.

LATEST EPISODE UP ON www.mgoradio.com

-This sucks, I THOUGHT I was free from the rank gathering...but I only have 4 left.
Back to that...

-Anyways, latest radio episode is up. We discuss Sneaking Mission. I like it, it's team deathmatch with a twist. Basically single player online.

-The homemade tourneys are cool as long as they do something different, Hikarus 3 minute DM's are pretty intense. It's nice to get people gathered in one spot.

-Europe's Tourney Fraud is pretty funny, and not just cause of the Bon appetit randomly in there. We talked about this last week, and I said (lost radio ep) that I don't think there would be enough motivation for ppl to do it, turns out, all you need is CASH MONEY.

-If you are still planning to follow the Radio stuff, BOMB is the mode for the week.
Even though I won't be hosting it.

-I also got my book which SHOULD help me get this damn thing on itunes, haha.

-LTA, still coming, I swear...

-E3 coming up, the Next countdown ends tonight, and the new one will prolly start.

'til next time folks.

May 25: The host has ended the game (of the week)

Funny. More people are gonna be playing MGO more due to summer. Classes ending, more free time, etc. Myself on the other hand, much, much less.

There will be a two week gap with no episodes. June 29th and July 6 will not have a new episode. I will be out on vacation, and therefore, no access to my PC. I might twitter some stuff, kidding.

I've been getting bored with MGO, when MGO starts becoming a chore, it's not fun. These games of the week are nice, but I'm not going to host them anymore, actually, we don't even cover it on the show much, so it's makes sense.

Restricting yourself to one mode makes you hate that mode by the end of the week. And if you don't like that mode, well it's gonna be a long week.

And to be quite honest, I got burnt out on the "Gotta catch 'em all" mentality on the ranks.

So yeah, game over. Thanks to the people hanging around.

I might host random games, (shotty only, etc) but idk, I'd rather get back to hosting NORMAL games. Haha.

'til next time.
